lakesidepark Hello, I like KaOS is lean, fast, stable ,and I want now if have anything to do for gaming in Kaos Like a virtual Machine or other things. I' saw in games magazine news games from R.G Mechanics they already made in 64bits framework. Thanks
demm Any game that runs on 64 bit libraries can run on KaOS. Steam needs 32bit, so as long that is the case, can't use it on KaOS.
lakesidepark Thanks demm, but I figure some games new ans olds only have exe or msi file extensions, seeking in Amazon I found one release of fallout new vegas in .sh extension for unix and linux. Please if you have a guide for install Virtual machine o games in KaOs you can share it. Thanks
UntamedJJ @lakesidepark I think that a flatpak installation of Steam will serve you best if you're looking to play something like Fallout New Vegas which I have in my steam library runs fine. However, expect problems with publishers using "red shell" or web-based interfaces with embedded browsers. You may have to do some tinkering to get things to work. Example: Civ 6. Have to run in Legacy mode.
demm Three year old threads, please don't post in those, just link back to them if needed when starting a new topic. Closing.
