I'm evaluating KaOS and find it attractive. However, as the documentation states, the KaOS package repository is small by design and there are a number of tools that I would have to install myself. Pacman provides tools to construct and install local packages as well as pre-made packages available through KCP and AUR. What I'm inferring from this is that if there are patches to applications installed through local packages, there is no "automatic" update to those applications. I would need to rebuild/reinstall those packages with the updated source. Is this correct?
