The feature request at github appears to be specific to a board with RAID on the motherboard which I this is different from having a separate controller card but I could be wrong. It's also referred to as being FAKE RAID/ Software RAID which is definitely not what I'm using. I have a separate Adaptec RAID controller card. It shows up on boot even before the BIOS system check does. Even the BIOS doesn't see the four drives, it thinks it's only looking at a single physical drive.
Since the github seems to report the problem as being with the installer, does that mean if I don't have trouble installing it that I likely won't have problems using it?
I might just try it anyway after I check to see that the software packages I use are all available in KaOS. I have everything backed up so the worse that happens is I have to reinstall Kubuntu.
