Hey all, new to KaOS but loving it. I have it installed on a partition but would like to run a VM of it while in my Windows 10 host system.
So currently I have an issue that I am trying to work through.
My system hardware:
i5 6th gen Xeon, VT-d capable
Intel HD 530 Graphics
Nvidia 960m (force used on the VM, but I've tried using the Intel gfx too)
I am able to load up GRUB, but receive system hang on an inability to start live.service and sddm.service.
I have tried nouveau.modeset=0 (what I use to start KaOS host partition), free/nonfree, and default settings as well. I've tried installing nonfree drivers in tty but the root of the problem seems to be the VM is unable to detect a display to output to.
Installing xf86-video-fbdev via git did not help. I tried using modprobe fbdev and it still isn't detected when running X -configure.
Any suggestions welcome, thank you!
