Hi everyone,
What are you using for SIP/VoIP services? It's shame KDE doens't have native SIP client, but the closest thing is probably Linphone:
https://www.linphone.org/
which is Qt-based:
https://www.linphone.org/technical-corner/linphone
I use it on Android and it works well.
For some reason we have Jitsi as the only SIP client in our default repos and it is Java based with an uncertain future.
pacman -Ss jitsi
apps/jitsi 2.10.5550-2 [installed]
An audio/video SIP VoIP phone and instant messenger written in Java (formerly SIP-Communicator)
Sure it installs and runs fine, bit it doesn't connect to my SIP service so is useless.
Can I make a donation or pay someone to get Linphone in KaOS? I don't think a single Qt-based SIP client is adding uncessary packages to the repos.
