This has been added manually in the past:
It must be becoming a more popular Wi-Fi chip as my new HP AIO has it and the wireless is not working (only ethernet).
If not, any chance we can get it in?
I have this Wifi card in my Lenovo ideapad 330-15ARR - I have tried Distros ( Deepin, Manjaro, Fedora, PClinuxOs, Kubuntu and Mageia 7 - only Mageia detected it out of the box, all others could not. I am going to install OS tomorrow, no sure what will happene 🙂
It probably is still not part of the kernel, but if clear that more use this chip, the driver can be added to the repo. Please let me know if it is not detected.
Looks like it is queued to be included in the kernel:
Not clear if it will be in linux 5.7 (just checked the source for linux-next 5.7.0, appears the above patch is not included yet).
This chip is not supported in kernel 5.6 + Kernel 5.7
Then please test:
sudo pacman -U http://kaosx.tk/repo/build/rtl8821ce-2020.06.06-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
Reboot after installing (linux kernel only, not for linux-next) and report back.
