The "welcome" screen has several issues with Mid Eastern languages (I can't vouch for ones I'm not familiar with...). The general "سلام" Arabic (/Farsi/Dari, etc.) are all written backwards. In addition, the characters are separated and represented in their initial form as opposed to final form. This is unfortunately a very very stereotypical mistake from westerners. The same is true of Hebrew, which spells 'shalom' as 'molash' (kaos says: םולש. it should be: שלום).
This is akin to some software developers in, say, China or somewhere trying to write English, and saying "olleh, dna emoclew!" (this is, not even to address the disconnected characters issue).
Thank you.
