Trouble installing thelatest edition of KaOS to new hard disk (Hitachi 3.8 TB)
I get to the part where the install is to start. The get error message "Installer Fail"
===================
Create a new partition (3.62 TiB, xfs) on ''/dev/sda'
===================
===================
Job: Create new partition on device '/dev/sda'
====================
Failed to add partition 'New Partition' to device '/dev/sda'.
I tried Erase Disk with pull down Swap (with Hibernate & the other options).
I even attempted to try manual partitioning but could not do anything there excepo hit cancel.
This is a new hard disk (without content) so there are no existing partitions.
I am switching from Mint. I have installed several Linux OS before this, including 3 - 4 using this computer. Computer is one from 2013 with 16 GB RAM. I have the ICY DOCK removable hard disks setup and can return to the hard disk with the Mint or one of two other (of the Debian group) OS that I have on different drives.
Is there something I am missing or not doing correctly?
Thanks
Thomas
