I don't know if this is the right place. Has someone with a dual boot with windows 8.1 and KaOS update to windows 10?
Does this work fine with the grub?
Some other things to know?

If you have some problem after update windows , follow this guide:
Does this also work with UEFI systems and can this also do without the terminal? Is there software that can do the same thing?
If Windows 10 messes up the ESP on UEFI systems then there is a serious issue in W10, no use to ask here about that, you need to check with Windows 10.
I have an ASUS GL551JM, Bios in Legacy mode. 2 seperate HDD's. I have Win 10 installed on HDD, sda, and KAOS installed on an SSD, sdb. I can't get KAOS to list Win 10 as a boot option. I am not sure why, both installed without UEFI.
Any hint as to how to update grub to show win 10 ? I am used to Ubuntu/Debian systems using #sudo update-grub which works every time, why is this not working in KAOS with the same ease ? I went into settings menu for Grub2, updated entries and it refuses to list Win 10. (I saw user"demm" posted a link, but it is no longer there in his post......) Please help. Thank you.
technomancer So I attempted to resolve the issue, with no success. I also followed the hybrid graphics guide and it broke my system.......just a terminal screen now, video card not available yet bumblebee is enabled. I honestly do not understand why this is so hard, I keep trying to use an ARCH based distro but keep hitting the same obstacles for the last 6 years.....So back to LinuxMint for me. Good luck to you all. KAOS is a pretty distro but not for me, KDE rocks but ARCH just isn't refined enough for me. I need to use my computer not figure out how to get it working. Laters.
KaOS might not work for you, but that has nothing to do with Arch. This is NOT Arch based in any way.
Post in such old threads for not related issues makes it better to close this thread though.
