Hi. I tried to install KaOS on my main machine today. I5, 3,4 Ghz, 16 GB Ram, 3 SSDs, Nvidia 660 GTX card.
Bios method, no GPT, no UEFI!
Live CD booted with "nvidia nonfree" option and the stick was created with imagewriter.exe software on windows (.iso renamed to .raw)
I've installed all updates that octopi found before I started the installation
I'm using the manual partition method on the third SSD (/dev/sdc)
Primary 512MB, ext4, /dev/sdc1 -> /boot + boot flag set
Logically
32GB, btrfs, /dev/sdc5 -> /
~220GB, btrfs, /dev/sdc6 -> /home
I used /dev/sdc for grub to install to.
The main setup works fine, it formats the partitions, extracts the content of the usb-stick, etc. But before finishing the setup I get an error:
Boost.Python-Fehler in Job "bootldr"
Command 'grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg' returned non-zero exit status 1
and a traceback message
Is this a know error? When I try to boot (from this SSD ofc!) after the setup failed I only get a cli grub console...
