I have the following problem: I made a new install and Kmail immediatly showed this problem.

The whole Kmail screen is "half line" moved down. The mouse pointer has to be moved above the line to get the proper click.

Any tips what I can do to remedy the situation?

The above patch will be applied to kio, if you can confirm this is a hiDPI issue.

And yes, I installed KaOS on my desktop with an UHD display and have a 1.5 scaling in the settings.

    Hmm, let's hope so. Dolphin work fine on my system and with my display. And it is not so much not inaccessible, but the menu row is moved "down half a line", which is not detected by the mouse pointer.

    Will report back with 5.9.1.

                After the latest update, I think that is the cause, the mail body is outside the window too. Or it is a Korganiser problem, not sure.

                UPDATE: this bug seems to be fixed.
                UPDATE: it is back and still here. 🙁
