Josh I'm missing Elixir, Pharo and crystal.
Haha, we share the same taste. You might be also impressed by OCaml, that one is in the official repos.
You can use opam to install more OCaml related packages and it is, same as Elixir and Crystal, available with less effort. In fact, they are all running here, I simply ported PKGBUILDs for the first three and adam`s workaround for Pharo works just fine. 😏
demm In all the years KaOS exits, not once has anyone else expressed interest in the packages you mention, thus no candidates at all to add.
The thing is, that very less people report and give feedback, yes.
All these mentioned projects are comparable to KaOS itself, imho
since they are raising stars who offer some pretty unique benefits.
Plus, also KCP gets used with less feedback by the community, some frequently used applications are commonly outdated for months, without any hint. I guess the usage of stars is also low in the common awareness.
Users tend to report very less, imho.
adam There is prepared sh script called pharo, which fails due to searching for 32bit libs.
So far as I understand this error message, is the hardcoded path of fgrep the issue.
It tries to find its path in /bin/fgrep, while its at /usr/bin/fgrep here. 🙂
The 32 Bit Error message seems to be a relict from past times, I already reported both issues to Pharo.
Thanks a lot for your workaround -
