demm If anyone has the widevine/chrome sources available for 59 or below...... Qtwebengine is just way behind, no longer compatible with any widevine from chrome 60 and up. I have tried to find a source tar for 59, no luck so far.
bvbfan https://debian.pkgs.org/9/debian-contrib-amd64/chromium-widevine_59.0.3071.86-1_amd64.deb.html Only adapters abi differs, this works fine. We can have stable and unstable widevine adapters?
demm If working, there will be a qtwebengine-widevine and regular widevine, former for qupzilla (and possible other qtwebengine based browsers).
demm Please test: sudo pacman -U http://kaosx.tk/repo/build/qtwebengine-widevine-59.0.3071.86-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz this will remove widevine and install the needed version for qtwebengine based browsers, works well here with qupzilla. If confirmed, will move to all users. Seems this legacy version works with current chrome too.....
demm majoballs I also confirm in Qupzilla Netflix and Spotify works, but not in Chrome. So that means it has to stay as is now, 2 packages. And you as user will have to choose which browser you want to use with widevine, one package can't work for all.
mendez Hi. I have problem with qupzilla 2.2.3-1 and qtwebengine-widevine 61.0.3163.100-1. Netflix and Spotify not working. Netflix giving me error M7355-1204 Do I need to do something else, besides installing qtwebengine-widevine?
mendez HTML 5 test showing: No H.264, no H.265, no mp3 and no ACC support. HTML5 Youtube also showing no H.264 support. Is there any way to activate these formats?
demm It is not just Qupzilla, current QtWebengine does not seem to have any widevine support. I tried to build with at least 10 different versions lately, not one works...... Let me know if you find any working chrome version, tried are all between 57 & 63.
demm Issue fixed, it was QtWebengine build, new settings needed for Qt 5.10. Install from the build repo (should be safe): sudo pacman -U http://kaosx.tk/repo/build/qtwebengine-5.10.0-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
