mrcrowley I have not find any thread about KaOS installation on Intel NUC. I hope it works. Having an SSD, GPT and Btfrs are the best option for KaOS installation ??? Bye
mrcrowley I see under Documentation "Install KaOS on SSD using Btrfs" and no other option for SSD, so I think it was the only one. So default XFS is the best also for SSD ?? And GPT with UEFI is the best right ?? Thks
demm See the News, release notes, Croeso notes, all show that XFS is default. And yes, GPT with UEFI is best.
mrcrowley I have a problem with the usb pendrive and UEFI boot of the NUC. It does not see the pen. Intel support says that usb must be formatted for a bootable UEFI. I use IsoWriter follow the guide but nothing is point out for which format should be the pendrive. Actually is FAT32. Sorry I formatted to FAT32, but after IsoWriter it is returned to FAT16. Maybe this is the problem ?? NUC see only FAT32 pendrive.
mrcrowley Installed !!! It seems that NUC have some issue with usb 3.0 pendrive. I use a little trick, plugin a usb 2.0 pendrive along with KaOS usb 3.0 pendrive. See it and installed !!
mrcrowley It takes a little bit to start, considering a Celeron 1,5Ghz + SSD. It slows when appear these error: "kernel: tpm tpm0: A TPM error (378) occurred get tpm pcr allocation" "kernel: EDAC pnd2: Failed to register device with error -22." Any suggestion ??? Bye
