Summary: Use KaOS if you love KDE and want a full experience on a stable platform.
Pros:
-Speed
-Stability
-Very Easy to maintain
Cons:
-No 32 bit support (Not to say this is bad but no traditional Steam setup)
-Pacman management (Simply for those not use to it.)
-KDE focus only (Assuming you are use to KDE then this wouldn't be a problem)
I love KaOS, now. My first impression of the Distro was excitement until I found myself limited to KDE software in repository. Due to my need to instant gratification I blew away the OS and returned to Nethunter. However I immediately noticed the different in stability, processing, and speed. Ultimately I decided to really dedicate myself to experiencing KaOS based on it's focuses.
The First system: Lenovo Yoga 710 i5 1.2GHz 8Gs Ram
Since Plasma 5.12 this system is literally perfect. The main problem I faced was Desktop Flickering that I determined configuring my compositor for my graphics corrected. For a laptop I imagined that Plasma would drain my battery... NOPE. I run around with the thing anywhere between 6-8 hours without charging. Only time I really burn it is playing Dota 2.
As a workstation KaOS offered little issues and plenty of alternatives to my normal routines within Linux. Getting use to Calligra was really my only issue and that's because I really wanted to avoid GTK based applications.
Second System: Custom Build.
MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS LGA 1151
i7 4,2GHz 32Gs Ram
This is my primary server that I host Nextcloud off of. After 4 months fighting with KaOS to install Nextcloud I got it. I've fully bought into XFS and a complete 64bit setup to Host not only Nextcloud but a few VMs that manage my network.
X11 forwarding through SSH I would say is my only true limiting factor which I typically do not have to do. In short, every system I have that can run KaOS is running KaOS now. I BELIEVE.
