I tried running all the commands on that page, it seems the flathub repo contents
are not installed, so when I run a command to install a program, flatpak
says it does not know about said repo. Why is it so difficult to find a way to
add the repo......
Solved:
I found the command to add the repo info on the flatpak website.
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://dl.flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
Now I can install the apps at the flatpak repo.
And that command is listed in the doc linked for you......
