Slow game download in Flatpak-Steam

Hey folks!

Is anyone using the Flatpak-Steam client on KaOS? I tried to do so on my new laptop and the installation of the client itself worked flawlessly.

The download of games however is really slow. The most I got were 300KB/s while the client updates itself with the full bandwidth available.

Has anyone experienced this too or something similar?

If of importance, my laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad E485 and either Lenovo and/or AMD f*cked up the ivrs table in the firmware. So most Linux distributions won't even start without the kernel option ivrs_ioapic[32] = 00:14.0
KaOS is installed on an encrypted partitions (luks) if of relevance.

Well, well! I should have opened Steam before writing this post.

The games download just fine now. This might have simply been one of those DDoS or outage times. I did look on the net for possible downtimes though.

Or it is the different provider since I am at a different location right now. I will see I guess.

From KaOS' perspective this is solved either way.
