Today the forum was completely removed and replaced with a full rewrite of the Flarum forum software (it is now at beta 10, moved to Illuminate (Laravel) 5.7).
Changes you might note are:

  • Redesigned error and Reset Password pages
  • Drag and drop avatar upload
  • Search has received a makeover. Discussion titles are now searched and results are ranked much more reliably.
  • Mark discussions read right in your notifications, no need to visit the discussion again.
  • The markdown toolbar now has an image 🖼️ insertion button
  • Better emoji support with Twemoji instead of Emoji One 🦾 🪂 🦦
  • You can now tab out of the post composer (it no longer inserts a TAB of 4 spaces instead).
  • Tags can now have an icon.
  • Option to add polls
  • Possibility to merge & split topics/posts
  • A few more spam prevention tools, added is a google recaptcha
  • Warnings for necrobumping posts older than 2 months
