demm alexis tried many ways No one can know what you are trying to do, so always make sure to actually post what is failing. But first and foremost, do you understand what it means to build and install packages yourself? Megasync is not in the KaOS repositories, it is in the users maintianed KCP. https://kaosx.us/docs/package/ https://kaosx.us/docs/kcp/
alexis use this command: kcp -u && kcp -i megasync and this: kcp -s megasync in both cases I get this error: make [1]: *** [Makefile: 7266: exception_handler.o] Error 1 make [1]: exit directory '/tmp/megasync/src/MEGAsync-4.2.5.0_Linux/src/MEGASync' make: *** [Makefile: 47: sub-MEGASync-make_first] Error 2 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build (). Canceling ... exit status 4
demm For your system, it probably is not a good idea to run a build in RAM (kcp runs a build in /tmp which is RAM), you probably are running out of memory. Get the needed files (PKGBUILD and eventual support files) with kcp --get in a directory under your /home and build from there using makepkg, see https://kaosx.us/docs/package/
bits4fun Hi, I have just updated the package to use latest MegaSync v4.3.0.8 (SDK v3.6.8) for Linux. Now it compiles on latest KaOS. do kcp -u and kcp -i megasync (I have compiled & installed using VIrtualBox)
