A dedicated Markdown editor is added to the repositories (Kate has some plugins to use markdown with preview).
Ghostwriter is similar to Focuswriter, but specifically geared toward Markdown and should be added to the KDE Gears releases with 22.12. A git build, 22.11.70 is now available:
