I'm considering switching to KaOS for a while. I like the stripped down approach even if it means losing some packages. I do plan to bridge the gap using Flatpak, but I've always run into this error message (whenever I install any flatpak package):
Warning: Failed to get revokefs-fuse socket from system-helper: User flatpak does not exist in password file entry
This is after I a) sudo pacman -S flatpak and b) add the flathub repo
I've tried to google this error but I get a multitude of results that are all over the place. Is this a packaging issue like some stated? Is there some config file I need to alter to get rid of this? It doesn't appear to be affecting anything at the moment, but I don't know if this will cause problems later.
Thank you.
Edit: I guess the other unusual thing I'm running into is that it's asking me for a password when I install the Flatpak, so I'm wondering if that's all that is considering you don't need a password to install Flatpaks on other distros. If this is an intentional design choice then that's fine, just want to make sure the error message is no big deal. Thanks again.
