Hi All,

I have tried installing the latest image but it fails to install systemd.

Error:

Boost.Python error in job systemd-boot

FileNotFoundError. No such file or directory /tmp/calamares-root-icqed6cc/boot/loader/entries/KaOS_2023.02.conf

/usr/lib/calamares/modules/systemd-boot/main.py
Line 283, in run install_systemd_boot(boot_loader)

Sounds like main.py is missing and cannot install systemd-boot.

I ran the installer again and installed Refind, this worked fine.

Any ideas why?

Thank you

Logs will be needed to give an answer:

How was the ISO created? Manual or automated partitioning chosen? If manual what partition was set for for /boot (thus EFI)?
Best to give SysInfo output, but at least get the installation.log.

I used the SUSE image writer and auto partitioning,

I will do a fresh install and get the SysInfo and installation log.

I will take a look at the end of the installation log first and see what might be the issue.

If I get stuck, I will check the documentation from the link you sent.

Failing that I will provide a pastebin link.

Thank you Demm for your help.
