is it a mistake that the installer doesn't include boot loader images like the stable iso image?
I tried it out was able to install it to my desktop with secure boot turned on using that hash thing that built into the live image, of course in order to use it I would have to turn secure boot off after installing it but I noticed that it doesn't give you options in the boot loader part of the install is missing it seems not to include it yet.
tried KaOS6-2023.10.01-x86_64 image found at
found this link at https://kaosx.us/news/2023/kaos04/ news page its the only plasma 6 link I found about it so far, the builds are newer than the news feed from that date.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/kaos-test/files/iso/
also downloaded neon-unstable-20231008-1122 image of plasma 6 to try it out too, that one is from KDE Neon website. which is more debian or kubuntu based with old ubuntu kernels and builds onto older versions of ubuntu with newest kde plasma, I have not found any kubuntu 23.10 with plasma 6 yet.
again, I used Fedora Media Writer from https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/releases/ of the https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter website.
since the SUSE Studio ImageWriter is no longer and it looks like their file been deleted.
https://kaosx.us/docs/usb_flash/ talks about the Suse Imagewriter but its site no longer has the file on it.
https://github.com/downloads/openSUSE/kiwi/ImageWriter.exe says not found on at from edge browser in windows 11.
for things like ubuntu and kubuntu or Debian 12, I normally just used rufus but that one does seem to break the installer build into KaOS. if your wondering its using the default image I had loaded into my github login, thats a image I did created by Bing AI image website page of superman.
