I'm having this issue too. AMD GPU. All other apps seem fine.
It looks like Qt issue, Angelfish has same fonts.

The font problem is not related to Kaos.
Open System Settings, go to "Display & Monitor", and set "Scale" to 100% solve ugly font issue but...
or QT_SCALE_FACTOR_ROUNDING_POLICY=RoundPreferFloor should fix the problem
