Yes snaps are not supported but concerning appimages, you just execute them and they work that is what I did, I downloaded bauh, in appimage format, executed it and it worked and through bauh , bauh was able to install bauh in the apps of the app menu, and through bauh which is gui , you can install appimages and search for appimages and install flatpaks and update them.
