Hey everyone on KaOS,

Having a bit of a headache here trying to install some software. I'm a little new to KaOS, so I might be missing something obvious.

Basically, whenever I try to install something through the package manager, I keep running into these dependency errors. The messages say stuff about missing dependencies or conflicts, and it won't let me install what I need.

I've tried updating everything and making sure my system is squeaky clean, but that didn't do the trick. I even took a shot at installing the missing pieces myself, but that went nowhere fast.
I also check this : https://www.reddit.com/r/CrackSupport/comments/j19duc/hlcomplete_kaos_repack_errorbdmBut I have not found any solution.

Anyone have any ideas on how to untangle this dependency mess? Detailed instructions or any advice would be a lifesaver!

Thanks.

If it's an official KaOS package listed in Octopi, then it's straightforward as the dependencies are auto installed.
If it a package from elsewhere then there is a lot more to it.

Please give some system information, to see what the logs show for what you are facing, use the SysInfo tool:

nezzie If it a package from elsewhere then there is a lot more to it.

That is not supported at all here (and if done, post will automatically be removed), only use the KaOS repositories, any missing, build yourself:
    https://kaosx.us/#repo
    https://kaosx.us/docs/package

The reddit post has nothing to do with KaOS (as this Linux distribution), entirely different KaOS.
