What is the output in live for "pacman -Qs nouveau"?

You should have xf86-video-nouveau in there, if not, install it in live-mode.

If too much is missing for you in KaOS, then ofc you should try another distro, one that just works with your card.

demm: KAOS is great and i like to used and resolve the problem. The others distros have the same (and more)problem with my graphics. I hope that the output "pacman -Qs nouveau" do any help

Yes it does, that together with the journalctl -b -p err output got me some answers.

You need first to find a way to make the system use intel, not the nvidia card. It might be needed to blacklist nouveau, but first lets try to remove nouveau:

sudo pacman -R xf86-video-nouveau

make sure intel is installed:

pacman -Qi xf86-video-intel

Then on reboot, in grub, hit "e" to edit, and make sure there is "nomodeset=1", then hit F10 to save and boot.

If it boots to desktop or blackscreen, make sure to run "sudo journalctl -b -p err" again (if blacksrceen, go to tty1 again > Ctrl-Alt-F1).

Then check 'pacman -Qs nvidia'

Make sure the system is fully up to date:

sudo pacman -Syu

If nvidia installed, remove all nvidia:

sudo pacman -Rdd nvidia-utils nvidia nvidia-next (choose the correct installed from the first command posted here)

Things have changed a lot since this thread started, hybrid graphics work out of the box now for most since PRIME is build into the kernel, all needed is setting the right offload order.

Use the "Using Optimus/Prime" section, this works the same for ATI cards.
