First review of 2015.10, seems reviewer had lots of issues, would be great if some logs where available to try and figure why UEFI does not work for him and why the older hardware seemed to hang:
I have installed KaOS on a Samsung NC110 which is a similar system (atom cpu, 2gb ram). Never had big issues (brigthness don't work by default, need to touch kernel parameters). I think I installed with 2015.03...
However, I dd 2015.10 iso to a usb and try live and yes, its painfully slow, for each menu or app i open i have to wait from 3-10 seconds. Even sddm showed login screen while waiting dolphin to start!
