This is an UEFI system, the KaOS 2014.11 ISO is NOT ready for UEFI boot.
I should have remembered that. Sorry.
To access the boot-order is as good as never done with DEL, but usually one of the F keys. After swirching the BIOS to legacy and rebooting, try the F12, F11 or F8 key to get to the boot menu.
Ok, so I rebooted and pressed F2 and the set-up screen came up. Then I found a button marked "Boot Menu (F8)" and clicked on it. Three items came up and one was USB so I clicked on it expecting more options to come up. But the screen changed completely to something I hadn't seen before. After a few seconds I realized I was looking at KaOS. That was fast, I mean really fast.
I tinkered around a while and even opened the browser and got online. I changed the video resolution too.
I started reading the guide.pdf and there is a lot of good information in it that should help me get going.
Thanks.
I'm still trying to get over how fast this ran.
The electrical power blinked while I was in the bios. I almost had a heart attack (j/k)
