Hello, greetings to all and congratulations to the developers of this exciting new distro!
I apologize for the English translator :) I express myself better in Spanish :)
I was eager to test the distro but my system is UEFI, so when I saw that there was a iso download it for these systems KaOS-kf5-2014.12.04-x86_64.iso. Indeed she recognized the UEFI system and could prove in vivo.
My question is displayed during the installation process, when I go to manual option to select partitions. Here understand that when I select a partition to which assigned / and format:
1. It is expected that the installer respect other partitions.
2. What is the format type that will make this partition where you want to install kaos?
3. On the other hand suppose the installer detects my swap partition, because I see no option to select
4. It seems to be essential to install the boot, unlike the legacy iso where you can choose not to install.
5. This iso, although beta will be updated like any other or have expiration and later I will have to install another to enjoy the rolling
6. Maybe I should wait for a iso published for UEFI more stable and complete?
By the time these doubts would. Many thanks in advance ...
