Wasn't sure where the best place was to post this but I thought I'd bring it to your attention, though it might be hard to reproduce.
I was testing KaOS in VirtualBox 5.04 and found a couple of bugs:
* After a fresh install, running pacman -Syu disables dhcpcd consistently, but only if there is something to update (like synchronizing the package databases). I notice it doesn't always do it immediately afterwards, but a reboot definitely causes that to occur. After enabling the service (systemctl enable dhcpcd) it won't disable again it again.
* Installing the virtualbox drivers killed the system (won't boot), but I noticed if I ran the updates first they installed fine. So I suppose this will be fixed in the next ISO release.
* Kinit seems to randomly crash.
Not at home at the moment, but if there's any logs I can provide that you think would be useful let me know and I'll upload them though it's only really the first one that I can say is consistently producible (and the second one seems to be now fixed in any case).
