Well, i was updating my system yesterday and then octopi showed some errors with several apps, after that i get blackscreen with mouse cursor on it. I wait about 20 minutes and nothing happen, the drive wasn't working so i shutdown the system pushing off.

When i tried to start again KAOSx crazy message appeared:

startin version 229

/sbin/fsck.xfs: XFS file system.

[6.428190]: XFS (sd6) Internal error XFS_WANT_CORRUPTED_GOTO AT LINE 3156 of file fs/xfs/libxfs/xfs_btree.c. Caller xfs_free_ag_extent+0x340/0x760 [xfs]

You are now being dropped into an emergency shell.

sh: can't access tty: job control turned off

[rootfs ]

I tried with Hirens boot Linux partition magic and with KAOSx USB boot loader fix this error but it is useless, i can't mount or fix unit. Even i tried using xfs_check and xfs_repair but both commands tell me can't enter sda6. So i think this time is dead because i really need my computer tomorrow. I'll reinstall everything but i think you should know about this.

I hope you can tell me some options for next time or tell me what happened.

See you.

Since you give no info on what you were updating (how often do you update? how large was this update?) or your system setup, anyone reading your post can only guess to help.

Since it happened during an update, that would mean one of two things, either your partition or hard drive is full or your hard drive is starting to fail.
