Oskar so you have to change dir on cmd
E:
Then specify where is the file is stored with exact filename, in case you have it in the main directory then you have to type in the first section something like this (in case you uses the last iso)
dd if=KaOS-2016.11-x86_64.iso
And with the device to be used (make sure you typed the \\.\
and not \.\
in the beginning, and without a backslash at the end)
of=\\.\Volume{ddef9dc8-3c4f-11e6-b8aa-94de80b61d46}
So it will result in this
dd if=KaOS-2016.11-x86_64.iso of=\\.\Volume{ddef9dc8-3c4f-11e6-b8aa-94de80b61d46} bs=4M --progress
Only will work if you're on cmd in the E:
drive, the image have the name KaOS-2016.11-x86_64.iso
and the volume of your USB is \\.\Volume{ddef9dc8-3c4f-11e6-b8aa-94de80b61d46}
Edit
1. Maybe is better/easy to use ImageWriter and rename the .iso file to .raw to get done the task
2. Just to be sure, how it looks the interface of the software you used?, some like this or this
