After updating to plasma 5.13 the display is flickering before entering a plasma session. The screen is flickering, too, when I click on the menu and I sometimes see some very quick artefacts all the time when minimizing/maximizing programs.
I am very disappointed by this plasma version. I read that other distros had problems with it, too, and now I understand why did you postpone so much the change to 5.13.
Is there anything to do?

Especially needed is kernel in use & graphics card. There are no flickering issues reported with Plasma 5.13 at all in KaOS, there are kernel flickering issues with amdgpu.

Since this is a hybrid system, have you tried using the nvidia card with the nouveau driver under PRIME?

I also have a lot of flickering going on when using one of the openGl compositors. Now I use xrender and all is quiet. Have noticed this in other OS'es as well. I have also had it with previous versions of KDE, so I wonder if it is really 5.13 which causes it.
