After launching the browser, a message is displayed:
Failed to connect to the native host. Make sure the 'plasma-browser-integration' package is installed.
Of course browser addon and package "plasma-browser-integration" are installed.

This only happens with chrome, with firefox I have no problems and the integration is working
Thanks for the link, plasma-browser-integration will be adjusted so it will keep the chrome files in /etc/opt. Tested here that it works then without error messages. You can test too by copying /opt/google/chrome-unstable/native-messaging-hosts
to /etc/chrome
.
OK, so I copied /opt/google/chrome-unstable/native-messaging-hosts
to /etc/chrome
(I had to create it because it did not exist). Unfortunately, no effect. Did I skip something?
My mistake, copy to /etc/opt/chrome
Praise the Lord. At last it works. Thank you very much.
The fix is up in the [build] repo, plasma-browser-integration 5.13.90-2, contemplating to move Plasma 5.14RC to stable, there really are no issues with it.....
Well even though this discussion is many years old. It's still doing today, with Firefox 125.0.1 in my case ( check pic here https://i.imgur.com/zorAESi.png ) I hope some one could help pls.
Please start a new thread, this is way too old to be the same issue, it is not even the same Desktop anymore.
