I see you have just ignored my suggestions and complete instruction (no arch wiki, but I made it for you) to improve fonts. Version 19.09 has the ugliest font rendering, I have ever seen on any 2019 distro. Debian based MXLinux, Manjaro and even Fedora (see the past) have better rendering. The fonts in KsOS 20.09 are ugly as hell. You also have chosen Systemwide fonts of some condensed nonsense and hack (I wander how those 8pts-10pts fonts look on HDR monitors).
pts are scaled by dpi so they are relative to it. You mean exactly the default fonts that KaOS is choose?
Only devs will understand this post. Unfotunately I don't know why they ignore font rendering. Probably coding on a mac.
So, linux is best option. I'm developer, i use Source Code Pro as my fonts for coding and Noah for everything else.
Dev here too. Using Hack in Kate for most my work (really, try Hack in Kate, it truly is great), DejaVu Mono in Yakuake.
And yes, font settings are adjusted here too from default (example hint-slight, larger font), but as noted before, no matter what you set as default, it will never please users, so that is why (so far), just shipping KDE defaults.
