I have installed the 2020.05 release of KaOS in a brand new Lenovo Carbon X1 7th Gen.

The touchpad is not recognizable by KaOS. Not even in the live CD. I have tried several workarounds (some for other distros link1, link2), but still the touchpad does not work.
Finally, I also have installed xf86-input-synaptics and update my machine firmwares with fwupdmgr, and the touch pad still remain undetectable.
I have tried Windows10 and Ubuntu 20.04LTS installings and the touchpad (trackpad) work properly on both.
Does anyone have a solution for this issue?
