First full ISO is now up.
Calamares stayed with the 2 new QML modules, localeq will have to wait for yet another ISO cycle...
Kernel moved to 6.7.8, with intel IOMMU enabled, maybe it will solve some of the reported issues.
For the rest, tons of updates since the previous (minimal) ISO, in all some 400, so thorough testing is needed to see if this ISO could be the next stable or not.

Bad news I'm afraid Demm.
50 reboots later :- After many tries with this new ISO I still cannot get it to load.
Setting i915.modeset=0 and deleting the "quiet" option shows that loads almost all the way before locking up BUT gives keyboard access to reboot by ctrl+alt+del. Intel_iommu=on makes no difference.
It loads and appears to run perfectly on my AMD + Nouveau PC from what little I've tried.

@nezzie Since no-one in KaOS so far confirms your issue (very specific hardware only?), and all upstream reports I can find point to users only having issues with intel iommu (which is now enabled since 5.7.8), there really is no choice but to go on with moving to the 5.7 kernel. 5.6 is End of Life, so no option.
The 5.7 ISOs have been downloaded a good 60 times, no other reports. 5.7 has been in the repo as linux-next for over 6 weeks, again, no-one else reported an issue.
So for you, add linux (& headers) to the ignore packages in your pacman.conf once the ISO is released and 5.7 moves to the stable repo.

No problem with the 5.7.7-1-next kernel on this system. Loads and runs perfectly OK with the "CSM support" disabled in the BIOS.
The new ISO just will not boot on this machine, no matter what I do.
Just stumped if I wanted to re-install.

    One more full ISO is needed. Hardware detection is no longer working properly for newer NVidia cards, thus a change needed. This is too big an issue (and not a major fix) to leave for a new stable ISO, so new ISO is now up.
    Other changes since the first full ISO from last Monday is package updates only, among those:

    Demm, I'm sure you have better things to do but I am persistent in my efforts to get the latest ISO to boot.
    By amending the entries on the boot line I can now get it to boot and be able to log in OK, albeit, not with a graphical interface. Is there anything I can do to try installing or get graphics from the console please.??
    All kernels including the latest all run OK on the installed systems. Many thanks.

    Try to get as many logs as possible, maybe dmesg will help, journalctl, re/starting sddm from tty, maybe setting vesa to load on the kernelline.
    These are a few things I would try.
    And make sure to use any and all changes you need to make on your installed system.

    Demm: Food for thought.
    ISO on USB stick runs perfectly on other systems.
    On this intel system Calamares is not detected on boot, only boot menu shows.
    Editing kernel line to only give only the option "i915.modeset=0" enables the system to boot completely, with the graphics.
    The screen locks solid at this point, cntl + alt + F2, then log in ad live gives full usage.

    All systemd services started OK only error is "Live service failed. "Restarting SDDM has no effect.
    Tried startx and "x.log" file is attached, along with "systemctl status live" output and "dmesg" output.

    Also tried copying an "xorg.conf" file with intel driver, screen, etc file to /etc/X11 and running startx. Output says it cannot find i915.

      Many thanks for the feedback, I'll put this subject to sleep now.
      But to to clarify my mention of Calamares was wrong, it's just that the initial boot screen displays the choices differently, depending on what system and screen size.3840x2160 or 1920x1080.
      Both the 20.2020 ISO and the 07.2020 ISO give identical output when running "hwdetect".
      Also the latest Arch Linux installation ISO with kernel 5.7.11 loads OK with no errors, haven't tried the full install yet but will do.
