samidon Hello there! When i open Calligra after succesful installation i got something like below: I want to run/ open Karbon but it's somehow part of Calligra. /Thanks for any help
demm Either use the menu, and click Office > Karbon, or open karbon from cli/krunner with karbon. Other parts are in the menu too, like Calligra Words/Stage/Sheets, open from cli with calligrawords, calligrasheets and so on.
samidon demm I will try 2nd way cause as You can see on Top panel - there is no menu of Calligra. Only white rectangle and panel with "Calligra" title. Nothing more. Thanks for reply/ help.
bvbfan I can confirm issue on Calligra Gemini (build repo), it's white window (maybe QML issue). Words, Stage, Sheets and Karbon works correct.
demm bvbfan I can confirm issue on Calligra Gemini AFAIK, Gemini has never worked properly, just keeping it in the Calligra build to follow progress.
bvbfan I can confirm it's working perfect some time before. I've working on https://github.com/KDE/calligra/commits/master?after=d3175dbb078f50967f92a425049bacf17e7c171b+34&branch=master&path%5B%5D=gemini you can see my two commits an year ago.
demm It has long time been an issue of missing import Calligra.Gemini.Git 1.0, not part of released Calligra tar, so it might have worked for you when doing a git build. You can make Gemini load by commenting out import Calligra.Gemini.Git 1.0 in /usr/share/calligragemini/qml/welcomepages/cloud/git/CreateCheckout.qml and /usr/share/calligragemini/qml/welcomepages/cloud/git/GetUserCredentials.qml
bvbfan PLUGIN_CALLIGRAGEMINI_GIT should be defined then https://invent.kde.org/office/calligra/-/tree/calligra/3.2/gemini/cloud/git plugin will be compiled.
demm https://invent.kde.org/office/calligra/-/blob/master/CMakeLists.txt#L1033 It should not build the git plugin, so should not be part of any QML files either (not adding libgit2 for just gemini, this is an upstream bug to me, either require to build the git plugin, or do not have it in QML files).
demm Do not use images for issues, run the app from cli (karbon) and post output, and make sure to mention how to reproduce. This is more then cryptic....., no crystal ball here to see what another issue might be.
