Todays update breaks Panel. No icons apart from date and window pager. Downgrading plasma-workspace corrects this. Tried on 2 PCs.

Which repo's in use? I suspect the build repo is not enabled.....(that is why I don't see it).
Must be an issue with new Frameworks 5.80 in build on which plasma-workspace was build (no changes to that package, just a rebuild to include an upstream recommended depend).

Rebuild on stable repos only, please test and note if this fixes the issue:

sudo pacman -U http://kaosx.tk/repo/build/plasma-workspace-5.21.2-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Yes! Fixed. Logged out and also rebooted, no change to the panel all working OK.

I will need to figure if new QtWebengine caused this, that means removing it & complete rebuild of Frameworks 5.80.....

Just to clarify.
The systems it failed on both were both using normal repos but only one had "qtwebengine 5.15.3" installed from the build repo.

OK, that is good to know, so not qtwebengine, but Frameworks 5.80.
Will do a complete Plasma rebuild on new Frameworks.

EDIT: It solved! I can run a update (sudo pacman -Syu) and pacman updated de plasma-workspace to 5.21.2-3)

    Please don't hijack threads, this issue is fixed, open your own thread in the testing/build repo section.

        This thread is about plasma-workspace rebuild on packages in the build repo, not in stable, a rebuild on stable fixed the issue.
        Whatever is in the build repo is not related at all to this thread.
