There was a request in upstream Calamares to add the ability to play some music during the install phase.
See:
https://github.com/calamares/calamares/issues/2119

It is no hard to implement for KaOS, already working in the currently used slideshow, the button moves from play to pause (text) on clicking:

Would you like to see this added, and if so, any suggestion on what music would be suitable?

    Not sure if meant as joke 🙂
    But if not, once you click the button, it turns into a pause button.

    It is meant to be 'purely' optional, no music will played until you explicitly press the "Play Music" button.

    Am I right ?-?

      demm considering internet radio is usually a link to an mp3 file of sorts, maybe an option on genres in radio button form that changes the link "play music" opens? If that's not possible, just a good internet radio station with some variety I guess.

      Yes! elevator music! 🙂 Some levity will do us good.

      Or random tracks (it's KaOS after all) from themed community playlist of ... for example historically significant game soundtracks or plain CC uplifiting ambient tracks, or humorous collection of dubious remarks by open source ""leaders".

      // Correction
      Learning about chaos at the moment and it looks like chaos is not at all random. Paradoxically chaos is deterministic yet unpredictable.

      To be clear, the option to play music during the install was ONLY available in the 10 year anniversary ISO from last April, it has not been included since, not sure if it should ever come back.....
