Automatic switch to Bluetooth audio?

First, thank you for KaOS. New to it.

Just a bit of trouble with audio. Using connected (internal) speakers, then connect Bluetooth headphones. Connects ok to the BT headphones but each time I have to tell it to make the connection to or to disconnect Bluetooth, then power the headphones off. I have to enter the (right-click the BT icon) BT settings to make the switch. I'm not accustomed to that in other Linux systems. Is there a setting somewhere? Thanks.

Ok. I don't know. But now it works to turn my headphones on, hold button until pairing begins, it pairs automatically and works as I want. But when turning off the headphones, the computer doesn't know that and stays "connected". Is left clicking the tray icons where the clock shows on the taskbar supposed to do anything? Just a blue bar appears over the icons -- I think something is missing there.

I have no answers, but providing some logs for when you trigger such bluetooth events might help others to pinpoint the issue.

So I found that the BT icon pop up window from the taskbar doesn't always do that. For instance, if a window is open it needs to be minimized to see the pop up for BT. Then, sometimes the window is just a little square that needs to be resized larger. Then, finally, connect/disconnect are there. But, now it isn't auto connecting... Weird. But I'll adjust to it.

Right click on system tray icon -> configure -> left click on paired device -> add check to trusted. Now device will be paired automatically every time you power it. It works here with mouse, soundbar and portable speaker.

bvbfan No, not always. And if I don't right-click disconnect also, it won't release the audio to the sound card (built in sound).
