Can you provide the installation.log, see:
https://kaosx.us/docs
Please also answer the other questions asked in the above link, as in, which ISO, how was the install media created, checked sha256sum.
installing normally then this happen
it seems that my windiows cant detect the drive i tried to installing linux on, but the only answer is i flashed my usb with balenaetcher
Please use one of the supported ways to create live media, balenaetcher is not one of them:
https://kaosx.us/docs/usb_flash/
I'm having the exact same problem.

Please don't place empty post, see my first reply, provide the needed logs & info.
And if you also used non-supported ways to create live media, then failures are expected.
It closes the log once the install failed window pops up. i used KDE iso writer on my Zorin OS17 machine to create the usb drive image. My install is an XFS partition I've already created alongside windows. The computer i"m trying to install KaOS has never had any Linux before.

Tried it again with the same problem. this time I have an install log.
That is not the installation.log, it is the pacman.log, not useful for this. Installation.log does not close
on fail, it is written to the home directory of the Live user (as explained in the doc linked above).
Please stop with empty posts, otherwise there is no option but to close this thread.
Logs are needed to figure out the issue, links to instructions have been placed, so please follow those and give needed info.
As in my first post in this thread, https://kaosx.us/docs
