  • I don't know if this is the right place to do it but i want to thanks the Kaos's guys for the new and improved website as well for the Kaos distribution.

I'm using the new PLASMA and, despite some KDE Kontact issues, it's really clean and I'm really pleased to use it.

Thank you and keep the good work

  • Hi to all.

I consider myself as a Kontact power user an I´m really puzzled about this new version and integration. There are several "confusion behaviors" within this version, namely:

Email - clicking this icon it doesn´t jump to the application or open the "email bar" with the email options. For instance, how can I add filters to my email inbox? Other... one or two times, I open Kontact and my mail box doesn´t appear.

Contact - complety broken; sometimes the "contact folder" doesn´t appear; other times when I tried to add a new contac, the application stopped and doesn´t give any readable error and finally I can´t import any kind of saved contacts file, like Ldif or Vcard.

Tasks, Calendar and Notes - all share the problem of sometimes they don´t appear at all when I open Kontact.

I´m using kdepim 14.12.82-1 from "build".

Any information that can show some light over this problems?

    Regards

    Paulo

Thanks for this elegant, fast and powerful distro... :!:
