kaos_user if I install this ISO enabling the "next" repo I can go back to the "stable" branch when the Plasma 6 version will be released?

Yes, once plasma 6 is released, remove the build & kde-next repo, after a few days, maybe one week of updating, you are fully on stable (in the beginning of removing those repo's, you will get a warning that a local package is newer, that disappears once all packaged have moved out of kde-next/build from that time).

Thank you very much. I'm now on KaOS 6 as my main system. I noticed few installation bugs, should I report them somewhere?

    Bugs I found, briefly explained:
    1) On the login screen the language is always set to USA. It changes to the configured language (IT in my case) when typing the first character of the password
    2) The toggles in the "packages" tab of Calamares can be overlaid by the text
    3) Installing kdenlive from the welcome screen returns an error (kdenlive6 not found)
    4) The "about us" tab of the welcome screen doesn't scroll until the end. It's automatically pull back to half of the text. Maybe this is due to the translation which is longer than the original text.
    5) The italian translation of the "about us" tab of the welcome screen contains a lot of typos.

Let me know how to proceed (open a new thread, explain in this thread, don't report until some kind of Beta you'll release or if you don't care at the moment) 🙂

For point 3, that is to be expected, you can't install any package from the kde-next repo, until you enable that.
Translations issue, please help on the KaOS Transifex pages.

demm I've corrected the typos and completed the italian translation in transifex. Just a last question: will I found the updated translation in the next ISO? Just for checking the "real on-screen output" and check the overall translation consistency

It will be on the next stable ISO for sure, probably not on the next test ISO linked here, Calamares Qt6 needs a lot of changes in translations.

demm I'm running it, and it is good enough to be my daily driver. Kmymoney works, I'm using Dropbox in place of Megasync, and Google-Chrome in place of Brave. I'm satisfied with that combination. The only thing that doesn't work is gis-weather. Skanlite also doen't work, but epsonscan2, with some changes in the pkgbuild gets it to work. Excelent job, and Happy New Year.

Two things I have noticed with Beta 2 that I don't know if they are bugs or new in Plasma 6:1. You have to drag and drop apps to the panel if you want them there, 2. Dolphin "open Terminal Here" doesn't work, you have to manually open a terminal session and change directory to the directory you want to open a terminal in. Not stoppers really, but a bit annoying. Drag and drop has to be done carefully or the app is dropped to the Task Manager, "open terminal here" is, for me, only used to run makepkg -i, and for just two packages: epsonscan2 and gis-weather-git. I'm actually surprised that gis-weather actually works. My Desktop: https://scontent.ftpa1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t39.30808-6/414978948_376926054693166_4946107137071340485_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_p960x960&_nc_cat=106&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c42490&_nc_ohc=vL0gV7bNbhcAX_20AQe&_nc_ht=scontent.ftpa1-2.fna&oh=00_AfCuMn7NTqLo-jKb-PqMfMdNshjPytKwSEWlHMuUr9ktlg&oe=659BCCC5

For any bugs in apps, make sure you can replicate with a new, clean user, if you can, best check upstream bug reports and see if they are already reported. It might be there are already patches available for bugs you found.

demm Yeah Interesting. I just read that. It seems, from the bug report, that symptoms may differ. The reporter indicates she/or he got some error message returned, I get nothing returned.
